Rumors: Sony Xperia Z2 aka ‘Sirius’ coming to Verizon

According to Androidsas and @evleaks, the Sony Xperia Z2 Sirius will have a 5.2-inch 2,560×1,440 resolution screen, a 20.7 MP rear camera, and a 3,700 mAh battery. Hopefully the 1440p screen doesn’t drain the battery too much.

Seeing as Oppo and Samsung have already announced their next gen phones will include similar specs, the 1440p display being the grand standing one, seems like sony is just trying to stay in the game of the spec race.

Sony Sirius (2014 flagship) tipped for MWC debut: 5.2-inch display, MSM8974AB SoC, and a home on Verizon in the US.

This is interesting according to this article, it’s coming to Verizon? which is strange considering the almost non-existent relationship Sony has with US wireless carriers.
